Upon extensive examination of my relationship to beauty, I have acknowledged that  the strive for perfection around this concept has permeated my life. Looking at beauty within a social, cultural and historical context physical aspects of perfectionism, I deconstructed and reconstructed my ideals around this notion. Upon questioning that relationship physically and within the home and the family, I collected  images from vintage texts, magazines, and my personal collection to create a variety of collages. The colorful wallpaper serves as a way overwhelm the viewer with the ideals of perfection and the limitless variations of such a notion, as well as serving as a nod to domesticity and the perceptions about the perfect housewife and perfect home.
